- Ted dates a girl, who turns out to be Barney's half sister, Carly Whittaker. [814 Ring Up]

February 2013

- Ted begins dating Jeanette, who would be the last girl he would date before meeting his wife. [815 P.S, I Love You.]

- After Lily leaves Marvin's pacifier on a bus she leaves Marvin alone with Robin and while she's gone Robin meets Mike Tyson, nearly lets Marvin's stroller run away and takes Marvin to a strip club, though it would take Robin sixteen years to tell Lily the full story of what happened. [816 Bad Crazy].

- The Captain contacts Lily to tell her that the elephant artwork he bought at her recommendation in 2011 he just managed to sell for four million dollars and as Lily was the only one to predict the value he wants to offer a job as his art consultant. She happily accepts. [817 The Ashtray]

- Ted and Jeanette break-up after she goes totally crazy and burns all the stuff in his apartment. [818 Weekend At Barney's]

March 2013

- Ted begins learning how to figure skate, to prepare for Barney & Robin's rehearsal dinner. It wouldn't be enough time to learn and at the rehearsal dinner two months later he falls flat on his face. [Two months before May 25th. 912 The Rehearsal Dinner]

April 2013

- As Marshall & Lily are busy with baby Marvin and Barney & Robin are busy planning their wedding only Ted is available to see the gangs traditional event, Robot's vs. Wrestlers and he decides not to go on his own and heads home. [820 The Time Travelers]

- 26th. 12:44PM. Ted brings over swords to the apartment and Marshall and him re-enact The Princess Bride swordfight. As with the last time they fought with swords it doesn't well and they end up slicing Lily's rehearsal dinner dress in half. Which is a shame because that dress was the right balance of slutty and classy. [Exact day and time given in 903 Last Time In New York].

- 26th. 2:14PM. Robin finds the swords Marshall and Ted were using and mocks the guys for playing with them by fake swordfighting Lily. This leads into a real swordfight and they end up knocking over Ted's expensive bottle of scotch. They re-bottle it but with additional ingredients including tomato sauce and hand sanitiser. [Exact day and time given in 903 Last Time In New York].

May 1st-23rd 2013

- 3 weeks before Barney & Robin's wedding. The Captain tells Lily he's moving to Rome, Italy for a year and invites her to come along to be his art consultant. After much discussion with Marshall she decides to go. [3 weeks before the wedding 821 Romeward Bound]

- Barney's surprise bachelor party. It's the worst night of his life until the gang reveals they gave him exactly what he wanted. [822 The Bro Mitzvah]

- A few days after his bachelor party Barney tells Robin he can't go through with the wedding and she has to move out. It's all just a prank though and an annoyed Robin says Barney stop surprising her.  [912 The Rehearsal Dinner]

- Robin goes to Central Park to dig up the locket she left there in 1994, unaware that she already dug it up while drunk five years earlier. [823 Something Old]

- 1 week before the wedding. The band that Barney & Robin booked for their wedding cancels at the last minute. Thankfully though Ted runs into his ex-girlfriend, Cindy who tells him that her ex-room mate's band has just had a last minute cancellation and is available so they book that band. [813 Band Or DJ]

- Marshall goes to visit his mum, so she can see Marvin before they move to Italy. While he's there he gets a call about the judgeship he applied for a few months ago and they offer him a job starting next Tuesday. [824 Something New]

- Monday May 21st - Ted flies to Los Angeles to retrieve Robin's locket from Stella's storage unit. After searching though he's unable to find it. [Four days before Friday May 24th. 901 The Locket, 917 Sunrise]

- Tuesday May 22nd. 10.06am - In a nearly empty MacClarens Ted offers to buy the buy the next round of drinks for everyone as part of his list of things to do before he leaves New York. [Exact day and time given in 903 Last Time In New York, It's implied it was only a few days before the wedding so this is the likely date.]

- Ted contacts Victoria to see if she has the locket and she reveals she does and she'll send it overnight from Germany to him. The package containing the locket is intercepted by Jeanette though and she drops it into the river. [Sometime after Ted gets back from L.A, 917 Sunrise]

Friday May 24th 2013 - Two days before Barney & Robin's Wedding

10:00 AM

- The gang starts heading to Farhampton, where the wedding will take place - Ted & Liy in Ted's car Barney & Robin in a limo. Marshall, still in Minnesota, heads towards the airport to board a flight home, Tracy buys her ticket for the train to Farhampton. [824 Something New]

11:00 AM  

- On the way to Farhampton Lily tells Ted he's annoying her so much so she makes him drop her off at the train station so she can catch the train there instead. In actuality it's because she's not feeling well. She boards the same train as Tracy and they meet as Tracy comforts her as she misses Marvin. [901 The Locket, 920 Daisy]

- Marshall, at an airport in Minnesota, and the woman sitting next to him, Daphne, get kicked off the plane after causing a ruckus when Marshall won't turn off his phone. He won't hang up as he's trying to delete a photo his mum put online showing he's accepted the judgeship, which he hasn't told Lily about. Somehow though the crisis is averted as Marvin deletes it. [901 The Locket]

- Robin, Barney, Ted and Lily arrive at the Farmhampton Inn and Ted presents Robin with an early wedding present, a framed photo of the gang taken in 2005. [901 The Locket]

12:00 PM

- Ted & Lily check in at the inn. Lily gets a call from Marshall saying he missed his flight and he might not make it to the wedding. Stressed out she pays a bartender to keep a drink in her hands at all times, however as she thinks she might be pregant requests all the drinks be non-alcholic. [902 Coming Back, 920 Daisy]

- Due a big storm all the airports are closing down meaning Marshall is unable to get a flight back to New York and is stuck in Minnesota. He and Daphne decide to rent a car and drive back together.  [902 Coming Back]

- Barney's brother James reveals that he and his husband, Tom, are getting a divorce. [902 Coming Back]

2:00PM

- Barney and Robin's elderly relatives arrive.  [903 Last Time In New York]

- Lily finds out Ted and Marshall were the ones who destroyed her dress for the rehearsal dinner, not the drycleaners, and as punishment she makes Ted wear an old fashioned bathing suit and makes Marshall, currently travelling through Wisconsin, wear the uniform for the Green Bay Packers team, a rival of Marshall's team.  [903 Last Time In New York]

- Ted finds out that Lily and Robin ruined their bottle of six hundred dollar scotch. Lily apologises and buys him a new bottle. [903 Last Time In New York]

3:00PM

- Ted goes to have a drink with Barney and he reveals he saw him and Robin during their moment at the carousel, which causes him to drop the bottle of scotch. He tells Barney that he was only there to comfort her as a friend and he appears to accept this but he then gets Ted to do various tasks and he realises that Barney is mad at him, especially when he gets WIlliam Zabka to replace him as best man. After a discussion with Marshall Barney eventually forgives Ted and is re-instated as best man, to William Zabka's displeasure. [904 The Broken Code]

6:00PM

- Barney, Ted, Robin, Lily, James, Marshpillow, Tim Gunn, Ranjit and Billy Zabka play poker and before too long only Barney, Robin, James, Billy Zabka, and Ranjit remain. During the later stages of the game Robin dares James to wager his wedding ring, which Robin eventually wins. James brings in his mother, Loretta, to try and get the ring back but after a round of strip poker Loretta ends up losing her special blouse. [905 The Poker Game].

- Ted tells Lily about his plan to get Barney & Robin three gifts which infuriates her as she believed Ted didn't even buy her and Marshall one gift for their wedding. Eventually they realise that Ted did get them a wedding gift but Stuart passed it off as being from him. [905 The Poker Game].

- Marshall, travelling through Chicago, is happy to receive a delivery from Gazzola's pizza, arranged by Ted as an apology when he thought he may not have got Lily and Marshall a wedding present. [905 The Poker Game].

9:00PM

- The wedding weekend officially begins with Friday night drinks and Ted is given the choice of three single women that he could hook-up with and he picks Cassie, which he later regrets as he has to spend the remainder of the night comforting her. [906 Knight Vision]

- The officiant for Barney & Robin's wedding ceremony, Reverend Lowell, discovers that they lied to him about how they met. Angered he asks them to leave the church but after they defend themselves Reverend Lowell dies, leaving them free to marry in the church but without a minister. [906 Knight Vision]

- Marshall reveals to Daphne that he hasn't told Lily about his judgeship. The two later have a an argument after Marshall discovers she's a lobbyist for an oil company. [906 Knight Vision]

11:30PM

- Marshall apologises to Daphne for their earlier argument and she reveals that she sent Lily a text message telling her the truth about Marshall's judge-ship. Marshall gets a call from her, but it turns out she hasn't read the message yet and was just calling to tell Marshall she's unhappy they got the 'haunted' room 13 at the Farhampton Inn, though Marshall's overjoyed at this. Using owed "No Questions Asked" pacts with Ted, Barney and Robin each of them tries and fails to delete the text, until Ted uses his own "No Questions Asked" with Lily and asks her to destroy her phone. Despite this though Marshall decides to tell Lily the truth anyway and she's furious. [907 No Questions Asked]

Saturday May 25th 2013 - The day before Barney & Robin's Wedding

9:00AM

- Barney, Robin, Loretta and Lily have brunch and conflict ensues between Robin and Loretta after Robin flaunts the blouse she won the previous day. The feud escalates when Robin says her mom cooks better eggs than Loretta but after Robin reveals she doesn't know how to make eggs, and Loretta wonders how she'll cook eggs for her children if she can't cook, Barney reveals Robin's infertility. Robin also reveals that her mom is not coming to the wedding, as she was unable to get on the plane because of her fear of flying.  The feud is between Robin and Loretta is resolved and Loretta tells Robin to call her mom from now on. - After stopping overnight at Ted's mom's house in Ohio to wait out a storm Marshall and Daphne set off again. Marshall expresses his anger with Daphne for revealing the truth about his judge-ship to Lily. [908 The Lighthouse].

- Following some bad advice from Lily Ted takes Cassie, the girl he met the previous night, to the lighthouse, though he ends up having to carry her up there after she falls and sprains her ankle.  [908 The Lighthouse].

11:00AM

- Robin is still upset that her mom is not attending the wedding. Barney decides to accept the challenge to cheer her up, saying he never fails to complete his challenges. When Lily brings up one challenge he didn't complete Barney reveals the real reason was he chose not to accept that challenge and instead he decided his one and only challenge was to get Robin to fall in love with him, which Robin tells him he was successful at. 3:00PM

- Barney and Robin are still very worried about their lack of an officiate for their wedding when James saves the day by bringing his dad, Sam, who agrees to perform the ceremony. [910 Mom And Dad]

- Barney's dad, Jerome, and his wife arrive and Barney does his best to try and get his parents back together, despite the fact that Jerome is married. Eventually Barney discovers that Loretta and James' dad, Sam are a couple and while he's initially upset eventually he gives them his blessing. [910 Mom And Dad]

- Daphne and Marshall are finally getting along but Daphne's mood sours when her daughter tells her not to bother coming to see her speech. Marshall takes Daphne to see her daughter's speech anyway before leaving to continue his journey to Farhampton. [910 Mom And Dad]

5:00PM

- Marshall and Marvin take the bus to Farhampton, as Marshall tells his son rhyming stories to try to get him to sleep. He's nearly asleep when the bus suffers a flat tyre and after watching fireworks, which would become Marvin's first memory, Marshall decides to walk the five miles to Farhampton. 7:00PM

- Barney annoys Robin as they prepare for their rehearsal dinner by remaining convinced that Robin is planning a laser tag rehearsal dinner. After the ice machine breaks down Barney claims he's going to get ice but actually goes to the laser tag arena and is arrested. [An hour before 912 The Rehearsal Dinner]

8:00PM

- An annoyed Robin goes to the security office of the laser tag arena to see Barney and Barney reveals he had arranged for their rehearsal dinner to be at an ice rink, as he knows she wanted to have her wedding in Canada and he wanted to bring Canada to her. [912 The Rehearsal Dinner]

Sometime between 8:00 - 10:00PM

- Tracy finds out Darren intends to kick her out of her own band and, after being encouraged by Lily, in the spirit of Aldrin Justice, Tracy steals Darren's van and leaves to drive back to the city. [Sometime before she picks Marshall up around 10pm. 913 Bass Player Wanted]

10:00PM

- Marshall and Marvin, struggling during their walk to Farhampton are picked up by Tracy, who meets Marshall for the first time. She tells Marshall she's gonna drop him off at the Farhampton Inn before heading back to the city, as she's quit her band due to the involvement of Darren. Marshall encourages her to confront him and reclaim her band. [913 Bass Player Wanted]

- Due to Darren's involvement Barney finds out Ted is planning to move to Chicago after the wedding. Barney takes this to mean that to Ted Barney doesn't mean much to him but Ted makes it up to Barney by stealing another bottle of 30 year Glen McKenna. [913 Bass Player Wanted]

- Marshall finally arrive at the Farhampton Inn and Lily is so happy to see him she pauses their argument. [913 Bass Player Wanted]

- As the gang goes to finally drink their scotch Darren knocks the bottle out of Ted's hand, and an angry Ted punches Darren in the face. Darren angrily tells Tracy that the best man punched him and he's quitting the band and upon hearing this Tracy decides to buy that best man a glass of 35 year old Glen McKenna. This is the first drink she'll ever buy for Ted. Tracy returns to the beach house where she's staying to find her boyfriend, Louis, waiting for her. He proposes to her but she says no. She leaves the beach house and gets a room at the Farhampton Inn. She goes out on the porch and sings La Vie en Rose to herself. In the room next door Ted hears her singing for the first time and would later remember this first performance as being his favourite. [913 Bass Player Wanted, 916 How Your Mother Met Me.]

Sunday May 26th 2013 - The day of Barney & Robin's Wedding

1:00AM

- Barney receives the seventh of his eight slaps. [914 Slapsgiving 3: Slappointment In Slapmarra]

2:01AM

- Marshall keeps buying everyone in the gang drinks because he's trying to postpone unpausing his argument with Lily. Eventually though they're forced to go to bed and they decide to unpause after having sex. Marshall tries to bang Lily to sleep but it fails, they argue and after Marshall brings up Lily abandoning him to go to San Francisco an upset Lily, who thinks she might be pregnant, leaves and is picked up in The Captains car so she can go take a pregnancy test. She takes it in The Captains bathroom and it's positive.  [915 Unpause, 920 Daisy]

- Ted, Robin and Barney continue drinking and Barney gets so drunk he begins revealing the truth about everything, including what happened between Ted's mom and him (they kissed only once) and what he really does for a job (Please..). [915 Unpause]

5:00AM

- Still drunk Barney leaves the hotel. He meets two guys named Kyle and Nick and decides to teach them how to live, passing on all of the knowledge he learned from being a bachelor. [917 Sunrise]

- Robin and Ted search for Barney and reminisce about Ted's past relationships. Ted reveals the reason he broke up with Victoria was because of Robin. Ted finally lets go of Robin and the two of them watch the sunrise together. [917 Sunrise]

- Lily finally returns to the Inn and reconciles with Marshall, saying they should stay in New York. [917 Sunrise]

8:00AM

- Ted and Robin finally find Barney back at the hotel but he is hungover and passed out. With the wedding pictures in only two hours the gang struggles to wake him up. They try to give him Barney's Hangover Fixir Elixir but Barney reveals the drink is just a placebo (a pla-ce-bro). The gang realises that whenever he's given them the elixir he's just been doing it because he loves them and has been trying to help them out. [918 Rally]

10:00AM

- Barney is still too hungover so the photo session is cancelled. Robin Sr is so angry he kicks Barney in the crotch. [918 Rally]

11:00AM

- Barney is feeling better and the gang tells him the photo session went ahead as planned and they pulled off the Weekend at Barney's, which makes him happy. [918 Rally]

Between 11:00AM - 2:00PM

- Robin, Marshall and Lily watch The Wedding Bride Too! [919 Vesuvius]

- Ted helps Barney decide on what suit to wear. [919 Vesuvius]

2:00PM

- Robin's mother, Genevieve, arrives at The Farhampton Inn. After hearing her mother talk about her dad she's worried Barney and her dad might be too similar and her mom tries to ease her pre-wedding jitters. [920 Daisy]

- Upon hearing that The Captain was the one who mysteriously picked up Lily when she suddenly left the Inn the previous night Marshall goes to his house to confront him and finds out she actually went there to take a pregnancy test - Lily's pregnant. Back at the Inn Marshall tells her they're going to Italy as Lily gave Marshall his dream and so it's time for him to give her the dream she wants. [920 Daisy]

Between 2:00PM - 5:28PM

- Gary Blauman, Barney's former co-worker arrives, much to the surprise and horror of Robin who didn't receive his reply card. The gang have varying feelings on Blauman but eventually decide he can stay because it's what Robin wants. [921 Gary Blauman]

Between 5.28PM-Midnight

- With under an hour to go before the Wedding both Barney and Robin have panic attacks. [701 The Best Man, 801 Farhampton, 922 The End of the Aisle]

- Ted gives Barney the locket to give to Robin, knowing she needs it to come from him. [922 The End of the Aisle]

- Robin decides to run away and runs into Tracy, meeting her for the first time. [922 The End of the Aisle]

- Barney tells Robin the truth about the locket.  [922 The End of the Aisle]

- 6pm. As the ceremony begins Barney has another panic attack, which is ended when he delivers the final slap of the slap bet. [922 The End of the Aisle]

- Barney and Robin are married. [922 The End of the Aisle]

- At the wedding reception Ted sees Tracy for the first time. Barney also realises her as the girl who convinced him to win over Robin. He asks if she's still seeing the same guy she was before and when she says she isn't he tells Ted he wants to to introduce him to her but he says he has to go. [923 Last Forever Part One]

- After a tearful goodbye with the gang Ted leaves the wedding to go wait for the train, which turns out to be 45 minutes late. While waiting though Tracy arrives at the train station, and her and Ted meet for the first time. [923 Last Forever Part 1, 924 Last Forever Part Two].

May 27th-31st 2013

- 27th. Monday. Marshall and Lily arrive at the bar and are shocked to find Ted there. Ted reveals he met a girl, the bass player from the wedding. He then decides to call her. Marshall worries about Ted falling in love fast again but Lily assures him this is different. [923 Last Forever Part One]

- 29th. Tuesday. Ted goes on his first date with Tracy. They originally intend on going to a Mexican-Scottish fusion restaurant but after finding out there's live music they decide to eat elsewhere. They run into Tracy's ex, Louis and Tracy decides she's not ready to date and they head back to her apartment. After hearing Ted's story though the two kiss for the first time and they decide to continue walking for a little longer. [921 Gary Blauman]

June 2013

- Robin quits smoking for good. [511 Last Cigarette Ever]

- Barney & Robin arrive back from their honeymoon in Belize, which Barney describes as amazing and Lily knees him the groin for calling her fat just before the wedding. [As shown in a flashforward in 905 The Poker Game. The date is not mentioned but is presumably not too long after the wedding]

July 2013

- Barney reveals to his boss that he's been colluding with the feds since he started his job as a revenge for him stealing his girlfriend in 1998. His boss is then arrested. [Two months after 915 Unpause]

September 2013

- Ted receives a thankyou note from Marshall for getting him a Gazzola's pizza delivered to his car while he was driving through Chicago. [Four months after May, 905 The Poker Game]
